Design by Meka was founded by Yameka Parker, a self-taught graphic designer based in Georgia. Design by Meka was created to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a designer.

Growing up, my ultimate goal was to become a fashion designer. While fashion was my passion, I mostly found myself sketching or creating concept brands to satisfy my desire to design. I was particularly excited by the idea of creating unique brand experiences. The intention behind creating a carefully crafted logo & brand identity is to create a memorable brand experience.

After years of trying to find my passion, I finally realized I had been preparing myself to take the plunge into my own graphic design business! I love building brands completely from scratch. It allows me the opportunity to breathe life into a business by creating a sense of culture and community.
